REHAGE ENTERTAINMENT AND THE NEW ORLEANS BINGO! SHOW
ANNOUNCE THE
RETURN OF THE BINGO! PARLOUR
TO THE 2008 NEW ORLEANS VOODOO EXPERIENCE:
BIGGER! BETTER! MORE!
NEW ORLEANS, LA; OCT 24 - 26: Following the overwhelming success of last year's festival debut, Rehage Entertainment and The New Orleans Bingo! Show (TNOBS) are proud to announce the return of everyone's favorite quirky carnival-themed sideshow spectacular to the 2008 New Orleans Voodoo Experience. Once again helmed by Producer Ron Rona (aka Ronnie Numbers of TNOBS), this year's Bingo! Parlour will once again seamlessly blend performances by some of New Orleans' most talented and offbeat local bands with special appearances by thematically selected national acts.
Local favorites scheduled to appear in this year's Bingo! Parlour will include The Morning 40 Federation, Clint Maedgen +9, Quintron & Miss Pussycat, Zydepunks, Rotary Downs, The Happy Talk Band, One Man Machine, The New Orleans Jazz Vipers, Fleur De Tease, Bones, Paul Varisco & The Milestones, The Tin Men featuring The Valparaiso Men's Chorus, and of course, America's favorite musical gameshow cabaret: The New Orleans Bingo! Show. For festival-goers with an eye to the national scene, The Bingo! Parlour is proud to welcome such like-minded touring acts as the gypsy-tinged ensemble Devotchka, the eclectically electric Man Man, the Bay Area's bombastic marching extraordinaires The Extra Action Marching Band, The Gutter Twins (featuring Greg Dulli of The Afghan Whigs and Mark Lanegan of Screaming Trees), and a special performance by recently reunited D.C. area post-punk legends Shudder To Think. (Schedule subject to change.)
As featured performers in their newly expanded home tent, The New Orleans Bingo! Show will be performing three themed shows in three days, each featuring special guests, and each dedicated to one of the three colors of the circus standard from which they draw their mighty power: The Red Show, The Black Show, and The Gold Show. Witness the glory and mayhem as TNOBS joins forces with burlesque troupe Fleur De Tease, performance art marching band The Noisician Coalition, and a slew of acrobats, aerialists and midway performers for three singularly diverse presentations.
Please join us in The Bingo! Parlour for three days of unbridled big-top revelry as we celebrate the tenth anniversary of The New Orleans Voodoo Experience. The midway awaits...
How's about that lineup? Yowza! Now there's something worth gettin' excited over... Meanwhile, if you're looking for a constructive way to pass

the tortuous 115 nailbitin' days until the big event, make sure to keep one eye on the ol' Bingo! Blog. For those of you who aren't familiar with every single band featured in this year's Parlour, we'll be doing our level best to educate you as to the true awesomeness of each and every one. Each week we'll be featuring a different performer, providing you ample resources and opportunities to mold yourself into a true Bingo! Parlour Know-It-All!
